My reaction paper on NOYNOY's speech.

I am dissatisfied after reading the printed version of the inaugural speech before me. It wasn’t as substantial as I would have thought for a speech as such of high importance for the “rise” of our nation. It wasn’t substantial ,for words of gratitude covered almost half of the whole speech. First off, he highlighted his goals on continuing the work of his parents and if he didn’t state which programs were it, it would seem as a mere vague picture anyone could have thought of.

It was on his campaign that poverty would end without corruption. He cleared out in his speech that it wasn’t just for a slogan but it serves as a basis and a principle for our administration. It is substandard to be a basis for our administration, corruption isn’t the only factor that feeds poverty. Considering that corruption is the main factor of our crises as a nation, it is a poor indication on how well he knows of our struggles. There is a contadiction in the statements, he affirms that corruption isn’t rampant in our country, that there are still honest officials serving outrightly. Wouldn’t it be erroneous to believe that extensive corruption doesn’t affect even the guiltless government bodies? That corruption is inevitable even on the most powerful countries?

I can’t find any fresh aims intended for the administration. His idiomatic statements translate to he, being badly prepared. He gave assuring vows of a country with no bribery, no counter-flows, no theft and such. It’s a clear indication of an indefinite manifestation of our deprived country.

He declared numerous times, we are his strength. He is uncapable of not abiding to our wants. I can draw a deep sigh if he will be dependent on us for governing ourselves. His rules should stand on his pedestal , not ours. His power should come with the proper sense of justice from his hands, not ours. His speech reflects his heavy reliance on the legacy left by his parents during the campaign and not of his attainment.
