On Crushes.

Ooh the sound of this makes me cringe. *crush*

this is a post in the category miscellaneous because it doesn't matter to
anyone at all.

i've had 3 this SY. imagine? in a school of few chivalric and civilized men, i found three?

really(no sarcasm).

1.

i was browsing through my plant dev papers on my way to school when
the tricy stopped by him. My eyes fled the papers and looked outside,
light was shining upon this guy and he had this killer cute smile like from the
korean movie i've just watched the day before that (for sample, click here). Alas, he sat beside the tricy driver and i only got the chance to see the college on his id , my eyes blurred on the name! it was eng. oh well.

2.

arriving on the terminal, i happened to sit on the small seat inside the tricy
(because the guy and an old lady was already seated on the two), i was expecting this guy to give the seat
because i'm in skirts but he didn't. He was too busy fixing his glasses he didn't mind.
Meinahurry,sat on the small one while the old lady exclaimed "sorry,wala kasing available na boy scout ngayon."
to put shame on the guy beside him. during the trip, the tricy got one of it's wheels flat so we have to transfer tricys.
Maybe for shame, he instead sat on the driver's seat while the old lady told me that "konti lang kasi ang nagbibigay ng upuan dito sa -----"
arriving at school,the old lady requested to enter the tricycle in the univ to the building she was working in. the guy left at the gates.
when i dropped off the tricy , the guy was walking in a rate from the gate such that we would meet ways perpendicularly in the walk way
(how odd).. he is conscious that i was there and like we were doing a scene from a movie (we were the only two
in the walkway). he nearly bumped my shoulder. learned we were in the same college from the id. dunno his name. oh well..

i went in the pub. office to burn my break time as usual..he was there. ahh. he was proper and everything.
he is the boardmate of my EIC. i ignored him in attempts to disclose my attraction. haha. i can sign he was lookong at me while
i tried to concentrate on my journal pretending to draw something.haha. i do know he is staring at me for long (since he's only sitted two meters away.hahaha) .i later learned it was his birthday(oops).
two days after, we attended the pageant in his college (i didn't know)..
he was the emcee and he was really nervous in doing it.
after the first part of the program,there was an intermission number
and he was a part of it too, he was part of those half-naked guys with only pants on at the back.
while they stopped before entering the stage (we were standing at the left front side)
.he is staring at me. when i looked at him i caught him staring for long.
i raised an eyebrow(lol) because i find him funny because i think he doesn't really want to participate in this number.haha
when the number started and the female contestant used him to model her swimsuit and it was about the
moment to leave , he left the stage ahead of the female contestant (she was supposed to clutch his arm first).
it was really awkward and he was really funny.:))

so there it is..

other thoughts on crushes:
- when i learn something about my crush that turns me off, he is no longer a crush.
-crushes lose their crushability when i become friends with them. Familiarity removes the mystery or unless he really is mysterious, it's still there.
- they're just crushes. They can easily go away like a sundae i can finish up in a minute.
- i will never let someone know he's my crush , he wouldn't even notice it because i'd be the opposite of interested.
rather, i'd be on my usual behaviour and it's up to him to notice me (naw, it's not pride. i'm just not into false perceptions).
if it doesn't happen it goes away. if he's distant,i'll try to be friends with him. that's all. crushability goes away..
- crushabililty goes away when i see what type of girls does he crush on.
mostly men get carried off with the packaging,hindi na nila tinitingnan yung content (deeper concepts:character,wisdom and judgment)

good riddance. wala pa nakakafit ng ideal crush ko.

malayo pa yun literally and figuratively.

ideal man:
-grace under pressure (doesn't crack when problems arise)
- seeks solutions calmly
- interested in learning new things outside school
- seeks truth
-open minded
- seeks God
- creative or wise in some way
-aware that vanities pass away
-reflective
-can handle truth well, discuss mature things spontaneously
-does he pass the time learning things? or is he like everyone else who seeks solace in entertainment?
-responsible,has plans of work in the future
-looks are only an option

is that too much to ask?
matagal pa nga yan eh.
-what it really is: a guy version of me.:)

note:wala na akong crush sa tatlong nilagay ko diyan.
sabi ko nga, kasing bilis lang ng pagubos ng sundae ang pagkakaroon ng crush.
