About a husband talking to his dying mother
He sits beside her on the death bed. This house he has been staying on for most of his life has grown strange to the life he's now living in with his wife. It started when his father died, it took the grief from its strange pains now that this is about to happen. He tells her all the things he remembers with her and she looks at him as the child she cradled in her arms. He tells her how losing her would make him lose the most important source of love he ever knew and she proceeds to remember the time she has given birth to a boy she nurtured in for months. He tells her all of his sorrow displaced in the trail made by the tears on his face, she goes on to remember, holding his hand and feeling her husband in him.

Does hedonism equate living this life to the fullest? or is it the life they've written for us to follow on? In living fast, do we get enlightenment for take-out? If we dined in to get what we want, do we get it or do we get it as the crew works on however they wanted it? For we never trailed beyond the establishments, but if we do, we might just live slow and muster all the time we could ever have instead of taking the certainty of death from hedonistic take-outs.

Si Bantay na naghihintay sa labas ay 'di natin kayang papasukin. Solb na siya sa tirang pagkain at lubos puso niya tayong tinuturing diyos; madali siyang paamuin. Ang nakakatuwa pa dito, kapag bibigyan natin siya ng libro, ito'y kanya lamang kakainin. 'Di naman marahil ito ang pagpapalaki natin sa kaniya kung hindi dahil ito ang kanyang katutubong ugali.
